A Vietnamese man has been rushed to hospital in Ho Chi Minh City after ‘breaking’ his penis while trying an exotic sexual position.

Surgeons then proceeded to stitch the 59-year-old’s genital back into position after it reportedly snapped at the joint.

According to Daily Mail Australia, the unnamed man told doctors he heard a loud crack while making love to his partner.

Vietnamese Tuoi Tre newspaper reported that the man’s organ had turned a bright purple and required immediate medical attention.

Dr Mai Ba Tien Dung from Binh Dan hospital said the incident was rare and occurred only once in a thousand medical cases.

“Symptoms include a clear “crack” that is accompanied by a sharp pain,” he said, “followed by purple colouration and ongoing pain and discomfort.”

“Without timely surgery, the patient can suffer from a deformed and curved penis and erectile dysfunction.”
