Footscray’s fifth and final “night market” for this year was held on Friday, with many people celebrating the culture, entertainment and authentic dishes from numerous communities in Melbourne’s west.

Organised by the Footscray Asian Business Association (FABA), the night markets ran every second Friday from March until July.

The theme this year was titled “Snowing Winter in Footscray” — complete with a snow machine that set the mood on Leeds Street.

Talking to TiVi Tuan-san, FABA president Wing La said there could also be a future Summer night market theme.
