Vietnamese police have seized 120 live cobras after stopping a bus in the country’s central Dak Nong district, state media reports.

According to Tuoi Tre newspaper, the elapid snakes were being carried in 15 plastic boxes and were confiscated over regulations banning the transportation of products dangerous to people on Wednesday night.

The cobras, weighing a combined 220 kilograms, were on a bus carrying four passengers.
