Tan Duc Thanh Nguyen, a member of the infamous Bali Nine, has died in Indonesia.
The Indonesian Corrections Office confirmed the Vietnamese Australian died in hospital in East Java.
He was serving a life sentence for his role in a plot to smuggle more than 8 kilograms of heroin from Bali to Australia in 2005.
According to reports, the 34-year-old from Brisbane died in recent weeks following a battle believed to be with terminal cancer.
Nguyen is the third member of the Bali Nine to die after Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were executed by firing squad in 2015.
