A British tourist has been found hanged on a cruise ship in the popular Ha Long Bay.

The man reportedly boarded the cruise ship in Quang Ninh Province on Sunday, bound for Cat Ba Island.

According to the state-media site VnExpress, he had argued with two friends after having dinner on board.

He was later found dead when the ship anchored in Lan Ha Bay.

His two friends told police that the man had epilepsy and had been upset over relationship issues.
