A Vietnamese grandfather has reportedly brandished a fruit knife to fight off two thieves at his convenience store in Sydney’s south-western suburb of Cabramatta.
According to 9news, the two men entered Allan To’s shop, shortly after 7.30pm on Saturday.
It’s alleged the two men, one armed with a long tree branch, demanded money from Mr To’s cash register.
Mr To told 9news the latest incident was the fourth robbery to have occurred at his convenience store.
The men are described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance and are around 183cm tall.
