Mike Tyson in Vietnam for ‘Girls 2’ filming

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to join the cast of “Girls 2”, a comedy-action film directed by Barbara Wong Chun-Chun of Hong Kong, state media reports.

Vietnamese actor and co-producer of the film, Tran Bao Son, told online newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong that Tyson will make a cameo appearance in the movie.

He said the 50-year-old American will play a character named Dragon, who helps three beautiful girls from Hong Kong escape their gangster boss.

Son added that all of scenes in the movie will be filmed in Vietnam.

“Girls 2” will also star well-known Hong Kong and Taiwanese actresses including Janine Chang, Ivy Chen and Fiona Sit.

It is scheduled for release during the Christmas season.
