American media reports that 28-year-old Joshua Perez from Orlando, Florida, faced a judge this week on charges of sexual battery and exposure of sexual organs.
Investigators say the incidents happened when the victim was living with Perez and his girlfriend.
According to an arrest report, Perez who was the victim’s host dad, forced the Vietnamese exchange student into sexual encounters about 13 times over the past three months.
The report also stated that another exchange student living in the same apartment said Perez exposed himself to her one day while she was in the kitchen, preparing mashed potatoes for him. She escaped by running into a bedroom and locking the door.
The arrest documents did not list the age of the girls, but Perez was not charged with sexually abusing a child.
It’s also not known where the girls were from however the report shows the girls were placed with the Orange County family by an agency in Vietnam.
Perez remains jailed in lieu of a $US5,100 bail.
