Authorities say six more people have been killed in central Vietnam’s floods, bringing the death toll in the region to at least 24 in the past 10 days.
On Friday, the National Committee for Search and Rescue (NCSR) reported 10 people dead in Binh Dinh, seven in Quang Nam, six in Quang Ngai and one in Gia Lai provinces since flooding began November 29.
The commitee also reported another two people missing.
Central Vietnam has been hit by three serious episodes of flooding since October, affecting most provinces in the region.
At least 75 people have been killed since October, according to government figures.
