It’s almost that time of year again where you can look forward to a fun-packed day full of festivities, entertainment, amusement rides and delicious food!

The Lunar New Year, also known in Vietnamese as “Tết”, is an important celebration in Vietnamese culture and signifies the arrival of spring based on the Vietnamese calendar.

This year, Tết falls on January 28 and celebrates the Year of the Rooster – one of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Vietnamese zodiac.

According to Vietnamese horoscopes, roosters are feisty and tenacious. Those born in the year of the rooster supposedly have very flamboyant personalities and are hardworking and trustworthy individuals.
