Short video clips detailing the story of Ho Van Lang, a man who lived in the jungles of Vietnam for more than 40 years with his father, will soon be released on the travel website Docastaway, according to Viet Nam News.

The website’s founder, Spaniard Alvaro Cerezo said that he would release around 12 short clips, each lasting for two to three minutes and covering aspects of the lives of Lang, 44, and his father Ho Van Thanh, 85.

The ‘real-life’ Tarzans spent 41 years living in a remote area of the Tay Tra district of Quang Ngai province.

Thanh, an army veteran, fled the Vietnam War in 1972 with his two-year-old son when his village was bombed, killing the rest of his family.

The two lived in the forest by building tree houses, making clothes out of tree bark and survived by eating anything they found alive in the jungle, with the exception of insects.

In 2013, the pair were discovered and brought back to civilisation.

They have since begun a new life adapting outside of the forest.
