United States officials say the body of a male employee was found dead in a conference room at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, on Wednesday morning.

The employee has been identified as 25 year-old Edward Mackowiak.

Sgt. Andrea Urena of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s told reporters at a press conference that police believed the case was an “isolated incident and that there is nobody else on campus or in the public that are at risk.”

“This is currently a coroner’s case, and we don’t have further details at this time. It will be up to the coroner to determine the manner and cause of death,” Sgt. Urena said.

On Thursday, local media reported that the victim had suffered a head wound and a gun was discovered near his body.
